With this taxi course you will be taken deep into the tranquil Iya Valley to the beautiful Double Vine Bridges (Niju Kazurabashi), as well as to a viewpoint that looks out to the historic Ochiai Village, which is designated as a Nationally Important Preservation District for Traditional Buildings due to its collection of thatched roof farmhouses. Along the way you will also stop at the Nagoro Scarecrow Village, where a local artist has re-populated her ancestral neighborhood with hundreds of life-sized dolls.
